So it's been about a billion years since my last blog post, but that's just how life can be sometimes. All of a sudden you end up in the fast lane (read work) and those calm little moments when you could blog on suddenly disappears. BUT, when I heard of this great initiative by Bobo Choses, I felt it was well worth coming out of the blog hiatus for.

Well known kids brand Bobo Choses, have started a wonderful capsule collection called W.I.M.A.M.P. (worldwide inventive minds against monsters of pollution).

"At Bobo Choses we believe that children can inspire and teach adults on how to care for the Earth. Therefore we asked kids from around the world to make drawings on how they would stop sea pollution.

This is how the W.I.M.A.M.P. (worldwide inventive minds against monsters of pollution) squad came about. Wimamps come in all ages from all over the world, they are very creative, seriously funny, and have strong awareness and profound respect towards the environment. W.I.M.A.M.P. capsule collection by Bobo Choses seeks to inspire both parents and children featuring kids drawings from around the globe on how to stop sea pollution.

W.I.M.A.M.P. 2017 collection is conceived as a social project which profits will be allocated by Bobo Choses to Ocean Conservancy NGO in order to fund activities of ocean conservation."

This is something we feel very passionate about supporting. We spend such a huge part of our lives in the nature and very often we come across plastic being thrown and washed up ashore. We feel so blessed to have such amazing nature right at our doorstep so today we took the chance to visit one of our favourite beaches and do a little clean up of our own. We searched the shores to find thrash that shouldn't be there. We found plastic bottles, caps, glass bottles, a bicycle wheel and even a pair of reading glasses! We made sure to bring it back and what could be recycled got recycled. We love the fact that it's a project that includes children and uses children's drawings to spark the imagination of both parents and kids alike.

If you would like to support this social project by purchasing your own W.I.M.A.M.P clothing and lending a hand to stop sea pollution, please visit BUCKETS AND SPADES who carries the collection in their stores. The collection is not available online.
